Courtney W.
Courtney graduated from Carroll University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2009. Following school, she pursued post-doctoral education with a certification in manual physical therapy from the Institute of Manual Physiotherapy and Clinical Training and a board certification in orthopedics issued by the American Physical Therapy Association. Current studies include how lifestyle choices; including nutrition play a role in chronic pain and injuries.
Her interest in Physical Therapy began during a middle school project in which she had to present on a profession she spent time observing. She was drawn to the positive environment in which physical therapists directly contributed to healing patients.
Courtney enjoys the ability to get to know her patients with individual sessions. She uses her manual skills and abilities to differentially diagnose to optimize patients’ function and help them achieve their goals.
Outside the clinic Courtney enjoys spending time with her husband and children, cooking, gardening and antiquing.
