Hi! I’m Paula! I am a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant who graduated from the College of DuPage. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in biology from Roosevelt University.
With a 15-year background in competitive volleyball, I developed a deep appreciation for human movement and performance. That passion naturally grew into a fascination with anatomy and physiology, ultimately guiding me toward a career as a PTA. I have a strong interest in Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy and look forward to pursuing advanced training so I can help make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
I value the collaborative effort it takes to help a patient reach their therapy goals, working closely with the patient, and my coworkers to deliver the highest quality care. I believe in getting to know each person beyond their diagnosis. Learning about their life, interests, and what matters most to them, because that connection is essential to building a strong therapeutic relationship. I also believe that educating and empowering patients to take a role in their recovery is key to helping them reach all their future goals.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my dog, Toad—whether we’re playing together or going on long walks (which he always wishes were even longer).
