Cheri M.
Cheri became interested in exercise science and physical therapy after her own experience with injuries as a multisport athlete. She has been practicing as a Physical Therapist since 2004, with a specialized interest in working with patients with orthopedic and sports injuries. She enjoys helping patients return to their prior level of function, whether it be a sport, work duties, or recreational activities. She feels a patient-oriented focus, working with all members of the patient’s healthcare team, are vital to patient success. She values the importance of using personal experience and evidence-based medicine approaches, as well as educating the patient with the tools they need to succeed for when they are recovered and ready to shift towards independent management. When not treating patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband, 4 children, and family dog. Other favorites include traveling, volunteering, watching sports, and cooking.
