How can I make an appointment?

Please call (630) 323-8646 for our Westmont clinic or call (708) 403-8145 for our Orland Park clinic.

Please have your prescription and insurance card available when you call. This will allow us to verify your insurance benefits and provide you with and estimate of coverage.

What should I do to prepare for my first appointment at our office in Westmont or Orland Park, IL?

To bring on your first visit:

  • Print out the patient forms, fill them out, and bring them with you. If you are unable to do this, please allow for extra time to fill these out upon your arrival.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes early to register and complete any remaining paperwork so you can maximize your time in the evaluation
  • Please bring your prescription (if you need one), insurance card and driver’s license (so we can make a copy)
  • In case of an automobile accident or worker’s compensation claim, also bring any case manager or insurance adjuster contact names, phone numbers, and claim number.
  • Please wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to your problem areas.

Direct Access

Did you know you don’t need a referral to see a physical therapist?

Not everyone is aware that if you are experiencing pain or an injury, you might be able to go directly to your physical therapist. It makes no difference whether you’re dealing with an old or new problem. You can call and schedule an appointment with one of our therapists to get help as soon as possible.

Direct Access in the medical community refers to the ability to see a physical therapist whenever you want without obtaining permission from your physician or medical practitioner. In Illinois, if you are a Medicare patient, you still need to have a referral from your physician.

Physical therapists routinely assess and treat patients without the recommendation of a physician. You can reach us at ARC Physical Therapy Rehab in Westmont, IL, and we’ll schedule your appointment right away! Direct Access eliminates the need to waste time waiting for a doctor’s appointment, then waiting for a referral to physical therapy and finally an appointment with the therapist.

Another advantage of seeing your physical therapist right away is the cost savings. Beyond the cost of copayments to see your doctor, being referred to a specialist, paying another copay, and then being referred to physical therapy, you can save money by seeing our team directly.

Insurance Info

At Advanced Rehabilitation Clinics (ARC), there are a wide variety of different healthcare plans that we accept.

We know insurance can be confusing. As a courtesy to our patients, we will verify your health benefits prior to your arrival to determine if there will be a copay, deductible, or coinsurance for therapy services.

Do you have one of these insurance plans? We have included most of the major plans with which we are in-network; however, this is not an all inclusive list! Please call the office at (630) 323-8646 (Westmont) or (708) 403-8145 (Orland Park) to verify other insurance plans.

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield (PPO and HMO)
  • Humana
  • Aetna
  • Medicare
  • United Healthcare

Our Westmont & Orland Park, IL clinics also offer a private pay plan for those patients who do not have health insurance or those who have maxed out their benefits. Please contact Advanced Rehabilitation Clinics (ARC) today for more information on our fees for service and payment details.

Disclaimer: While this is an extensive list, health plans do change regularly without prior notification. We recommend that you verify with your health plan what physical therapy benefits you have available.

FAQs

Can I benefit from PT treatments?

Sure you can! Almost everyone can benefit from physical therapy. By working with you and your doctor, we can discuss your options and help determine if physical therapy will be the right choice for you. Call us today to discuss your current condition or request an appointment now.

Can I continue seeing a therapist even when I feel better?

Yes, once you have completed your therapy sessions, you can continue to see your therapist on a self-pay basis. Or you can join our Medical Gym to continue your exercise program.

Do PT treatments hurt?

At ARC, we do not believe in “No Pain, No Gain”. You should not have to hurt to get better. Having said that, you need to understand that you and your physical therapist will have to push you to make progress. So there is a chance, as you restore your mobility that your pain levels will fluctuate. You want some temporary soreness from using muscles that are weakened or recovering. But you should not have pain.
